Several years ago, I went through the most difficult season in my life. My family and I made difficult decisions that changed the trajectory of our lives. It brought more stress, anxiety, fear, and uncertainty than I could've ever imagined. The mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, and physical stress was overwhelming. So much so, that my body failed me.
I suffered severe back pain that left me in debilitating pain and unable to exercise for several months. None of the medical treatments worked and that left more frustrated as I was throwing thousands of dollars at treatments that were innefective. I medicated with food, was emotionally tapped, and ashamed of the amount of weight I put on. As you can see from this "80's day" photo, I was extra fluffy. I felt like a hypocrite and a freud.
It wasn't until through much prayer and my own research I came to understand that my pain was caused by the emotional & spiritual hurt I experienced from the situation so physical intervention would not work. And that's where my healing begain. I relearned healthy nutrition, moved my body, and learned to manage stress and anxiety a lot better.

I completed a 6-week program called Elevate You. It was really cool because it gave me something to work toward and taught me ways to be healthy that was about working out, as well as stress, sleep, nutrition, and more. I am extremely glad I participated.
As a remote participant, I didn’t get to go to the Verus Fit Studio but enjoyed the remote workouts and the supportiveness and accessibility to the coaches. Coach Calvin personally checked on me after an injury, and I would recommend the program and studio to all looking for a studio to join. No, this program will get you results whether you are training with us in our Team Personal Training sessions at Verus Fit, your local gym, or at home. This is not just about working out. Our main focus is NUTRITION, ACCOUTABILITY, & HABIT COACHING! This is a complete system designed to work for anyone who is committed to the behavioral change necessary to reach their strength & fitness goals.
Nope! Our goal is to follow simple portion control guidelines that focus on eating real wholesome foods with a great variety to
choose from. Put the calculator away.
If you decide to train with us, you've totally come to the right place. All fitness levels are welcome! Our Team Personal Training Method allows us to work with anyone...right where they are. Move as you are able. Exercise isn't the main focuse here, however we can modify for almost any and every situation...besides decapitation. Those are tricky.
If you are coachable and simply and consistently follow the program, you should drop a dress or pants size, and drop anywhere from 10 to 18 pounds...or more (according to total body weight), have more energy, increased lean muscle mass, and new habits in place to help you maintain or further pursue your results.
If you follow the program, but you aren't 100% satisfied. Will will refund your money back.
